I generated my own favicon, but how do we replace the ONE-THEME Favicon with ours?

Wink Follow the steps below

Hi,

you have to go to your theme folder and you will see the favicon there. Upload your new favicon and it should work.

folder: wp-content/themes/one-theme

That should be it

1. Wrong code, it's translating it as
Code:
<link favicon.ico="" one-theme="" themes="" wp-content="" www.whichphotobook.com="" http:="" rel="shortcut icon"/>
Have no clue how you came up with that code.

2. Why did you add the code? You just need to replace the favicon.ico inside the one-theme folder.

Default Strangley enough I could tell it was th wrong code!

Hi Jay, we replaced the code because we couldn't get the favicon to appear. It is pointless telling us that the path is wrong without then giving a solution!

This is the correct path

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.your-site-url.com/wp-content/themes/one-theme/favicon.ico" />

All is well now and we can see the favicon

Cheers,

Ian
