Exclamation Thumbnail Dimensions Off?

Hi everyone. When adding a thumbnail to an article your instructions state to use 112px by 112px which makes them display fine when you are looking at the category pages or larger pages. But when these thumbnails showup on the Related articles box or even the Most Recent Articles on the homepage, the images are showing up as 76px by 76px, this causes everything to be pixelated when its auto-sized smaller and gives the page a very ugly feel. Is there a way to fix this and setup a secondary thumbnail that shows up for the 76px versions? Or maybe a way to display those homepage thumbnails as the full 112px versions rather than the mini 76px? Thanks in advance!

images that are correctly sized 112 x 112 will also look good 76 by 76.

The image is perfect at 112 by 112. If I resize it within photoshop to 76x76 it looks perfect as well. But when your theme re-sizes it to 76x76 it makes the picture extremely pixelated and messed up.

Also is there a way I can choose what articles display on the 4 Featured category spots on the homepage. It shows the last-written article for whatever category I add, can I choose what to display there instead?

agree. 76x76 thumbs are forced resized and they are not looking nice.

This problem could be resolved by changing 112 x 112 to 76 x 76 so that all thumbs on page should be 76 x 76.

Regarding 4 featured spots, I was also searching for this option and I could not find, as it is showing only newest added articles in those categories, and that pop ups my question: Where can I change how many articles is going to show on those 4 spots?

I want to have 5 or 6 articles on that place from every category, so that I can remove block with ''most recent articles'' so that on front page I would like to have: big featured article, 5 latest articles from 4 categories, and nothing else.

Also when you click on one of the categories, layout is changed. Is there a possibility to have always the same layout like we have on front page (news layout), for the first landing page in each category?

I agree, forcing the browser to resize is not a good idea (since IE has a tendency to make everything look bad). Hopefully there will be GD or Imagemagick support sometime in the future, as I'd rather have those resizing my thumbnails.
